Marcus Rashford has agreed a new contract with Manchester United.
The 18-year-old, who became the youngest England player to score on his debut against Australia on Friday, has committed his immediate future to the Old Trafford club on a deal understood to be worth an initial £25,000 a week before bonuses and over four years.
Rashford has been represented in negotiations by his brother Dwaine Maynard after shunning overtures from some of the world's top agents including Jorge Mendes, Stellar Group and Paul Stretford.
Maynard has taken advice from Danny Welbeck's brothers Chris and Wayne and has held talks with United secretary John Alexander and executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.
United are awaiting the appropriate moment to formally announce the signing as they allow Jose Mourinho to bed in as manager.
The teenager has been earning around £1,500 a week at United amid a meteoric rise. He only made his first team breakthrough in February, scoring twice against Midtjylland in a 5-1 Europa League win before following up with a brace against Arsenal. He has scored eight goals for United in 18 appearances before marking his England debut with a goal after just three minutes.
Rashford and his brother are also in negotiations with Nike over a proposed new boot deal.
Mourinho is understood to be excited at the prospect of working with the striker despite reservations from some within Old Trafford that he will be suppressed next season by the arrival of new signings.
