Jose Mourinho took his anger out on Manchester United coach Giovanni Cerra and his tactics book on Thursday after Paul Pogba was handed incorrect instructions.
The United manager was caught on camera marching towards his assistants before the narrow 1-0 win against Ukrainian side Zorya Luhansk at Old Trafford.
The 53-year-old pointed his finger angrily at Cerra and yelled at the former Chelsea coach, who produces visual reports and info-graphics in his role at United.
Mourinho also had words with assistant Rui Faria on the touchline and got his point across as he hit their folder full of tactics.
It is likely that Cerra made a mistake in the book, sending mixed messages to Pogba before the Europa League match and leaving Mourinho outraged.
Asked about it afterwards, Mourinho said: 'It was set pieces, organisation, they changed their team before the game.
'Paul was a bit confused with the changes and obviously I want my assistants to take care of all the details.'
It wasn't as straightforward a win as expected but United saw off Zorya, thanks to a Zlatan Ibrahimovic second-half header.
Meanwhile, Mourinho has called United's upcoming fixture schedule a 'poisoned gift', with October's home clash with Fenerbahce coming during a period as important as it is frantic.
The Turkish giants arrive three days after United travel to rivals Liverpool for a fascinating Monday night Premier League clash, with the Europa League clash bookended by Mourinho's first return to Chelsea on the Sunday.
'Well, we could play Liverpool on the Saturday, we could play Liverpool on the Sunday,' the United manager said. 'We play Liverpool on the Monday.
'So maybe we don't have the best conditions, especially because we play against two top Premier League games that don't play in European competitions.
'We had this kind of poisoned gift of playing on the Monday. That creates a very difficult situation, but we want to try and qualify for the next round. We want to try.
'(There is a) long time to go, almost a month, but we want to try, so we will play against Fenerbahce with a team with possibilities to beat Fenerbahce.'
Asked if he tried to get the Liverpool games moved back from Monday or whether that was impossible, he said: 'I think it is impossible.
'The poisoned gift is already there, so what can you do? We just have to play Monday, and then Thursday, and then Stamford Bridge on the Sunday.'
