Marcus is using Cristiano Ronaldo as his role model as he tries to take his Manchester United career to the next level.
It's not even seven months since Rashford made a sensational breakthrough, scoring twice on his debut against Midtjylland in the Europa League.
On Thursday in Rotterdam, the 18-year-old striker returns to the competition as a fully-fledged member of United's first-team squad and an England international with ambitions of emulating Ronaldo's rise to stardom at Old Trafford.
Despite his ambitions, Rashford has managed to stay remarkably grounded. He will fly with United's squad to Rotterdam on Wednesday a week after turning up at Bacup Borough and paying the £5 admission fee to watch his friends play in a non-league game against Charnock Richard.
Manager Jose Mourinho decided against starting him in the Manchester derby on Saturday despite seeing Rashford score a late winner off the bench at Hull and then fire a hat-trick on his debut for England Under-21s, four months after scoring on his debut for the senior national side.
But the teenager made a big impact as a second-half substitute in the 2-1 defeat to Manchester City and is expected to be one of a number of changes to the United line-up in Rotterdam as Mourinho looks to get his European campaign off to a winning start.
